Ben, thank you for the fast response. Youre even faster than Superman.

My laptop is a HP Pavilion zd7005qv. I reviewed the issue 99 article and 
found that you show exactly what I tried to do using Xcdroast. However, 
on the cd was a isolinu directory so that the cd was not actually 
bootable. If the files in that directory were not encased in it the cd 
might have booted. If you don't succeed try try again, I guess.

Also,the link to your laptop and the WiFi info will enable me to take a 
stab at that once Linux is bootable.
