Er, perhaps one of my earlier points has not quite gotten across:
Legitimate use of the Reply-To header really has not a lot to do with lists.
It's a way for poster A (in my hypothetical) to indicate the return
address to use in any direct replies to him, instead of his sender
address.
The appropriate mechanism to indicate whether a mailing list poster
desires direct copies of followups or not is the Mail-Followup-To
header, not Reply-To. See: http://cr.yp.to/proto/replyto.html
Mutt supports that header. I believe you'll want to include these in
your .muttrc:
set followup_to = yes
set honor_followup_to = yes

Well, there was considerable discussion of the fact that we have not
grabbed and reimplemented Dan Wilder's scripts. The rest logically
follows from that.

Er, that is absolutely _not_ true if you're doing reply-to-all. Which
therefore seems a good idea.
