Whether MS-Outlook Express deals correctly with multi-user Reply-Tos
actually hasn't any obvious relevance, since using reply-to-sender mode
with it is still, over time, going to drop the querent (in the current
list setup), regardless of how it processes Reply-To.

Not a problem.  You were saying that the querent was going to get
dropped if you used it in a reply to a thread in which querent is a
recipent.  But the very definition of reply-to-all implies that such is
not to happen.  Which is precisely why I was saying that, absent Dan's
site modifications, it's the obvious way to prevent such mishaps.

No, that's not right.  Again, please consider the reply-to-all
mechanism, and apply it to your hypothetical.
