Thanks, all, for your help with this. I've successfully recorded the data to disk at work, and viewed it later at home! I'm still having trouble viewing on my LINUX (RH7.3) side, but may be due to the old, slow (233MHz) IBM Thinkpad. Things go fine when I (sigh!) reboot into WINDOZ. Again, MANY thanks, Jim Doutt
