Subject: I'm going to count to ten...

BadBillyC,
I thought you'd finally come to your senses.
The headline read, "Clinton Urges Feinstein To Run." Delighted, I
scanned the page for the picture of you pumping a round into the
riot gun, with a caption quoting you as saying, "I'm going to count
to ten..." Sadly, upon reading the accompanying news blurb, it became
apparent that the women in your life give you just as much trouble
when you're keeping Little Peter out of the relationship, as they do
when you let him bend you to his will.

Look this rant up elsewhere on the Net. It's hilarious in a
chewing-the-scenery, heavy-duty-restraints-required way.

Indeed - although I'm not a fan of the powdered dried pork the
Vietnamese pho places sometimes use for a topping. Otherwise, "yum"
indeed!

[sigh] One of the few things I dislike about living here is that
anything other than burgers and fried chicken (well, and fried gator
tail) is "that weird food". We do have two Japanese restaurants in town;
they get away with it by being "upscale" - with the corresponding price
leap. "If you ain't up for Billy Joe Bob's BBQ Hut, you ain't from 'round
heah!"

Mmmm. I'll have to try it next time I get the chance. I love Vietnamese
food anyway; in Torrance, CA where I used to live, there was a Viet
supermarket where I used to go for lunch - they had all sorts of aspics
and jellies in the cold case that were simply _awesome_ tasting as well
as beautiful to look at, at about $2 a piece (1 - 2 of them made a good
meal.) Humongous tiger shrimp at $8/lb... oh, man. I'm going to have to
move back to the West Coast at some point. :)

Oh. Yeah. [laugh] I'd become so used to Mike being here that I didn't
even think about that. Mike, I sure do hope you'll stick around!

Not in the Chinese sense, I hope!
