Well, as I said, I tried the 2.6 with SuSE 9.0 as well, with the same
negative result - so although my first thought was that the problem was
due to the 2.4 kernel, my revised opinion is that it may have more to do
with the version of glibc or some other core component (like modutils) in
SuSE 9.0 [1]. But perhaps you'll have a little better luck. If so, I'd
be interested in hearing about it. [2]
[1] ndiswrapper is *supposed* to work with kernel versions 2.4.23 and newer.
[2] I have yet to find any reports of someone getting the broadcom ndis
driver to work with SuSE 9.0!
