Thus yielding a 2 cent tip: Stock configuration of Enigmail on
Thunderbird (and presumably all MOZ variants) is setup to "Allow flowed
text (RFC2646)". Here's what I found about that topic:
	http://enigmail.mozdev.org/troubles.html#quote

"12. Enigmail replaces ">" in quoted messages with "|"?
This is not really a bug, but a workaround that Enigmail uses to handle
the text=flowed formatting used by Mozilla, which can invalidate
signatures. You can avoid this replacement by unchecking the option
Allow flowed text (RFC 2646) in the EnigmailPreferences panel under
Sending."

In other news, I'm still looking at how to set up custom X-headers in
t-bird. I've tried a couple of googled routes, but no joy as yet.

.brian
