That's where I'm working now, heh heh. NOAA is a big place, but my
department gets called out to clean up offshore oil spills and chemical
spills like the Exxon Valdez. So they go to Florida a lot. I'm just a
lowly web application developer so I don't go anywhere. Confusingly,
the department is called ORR just like my last name. (ORR = Office of
Response and Restoration, http://response.restoration.noaa.gov/ ). I'm
not working on that site directly, but I'm working on some database
projects that may be on the web someday.

Show me a pair of dark sunglasses, and I'll show you a member of the
Russian mafia. Extortion: what apparatchiks do under Capitalism.
Oh wait, they did the same thing under Communism too.

I heard on the radio this morning there's a third one in the Bahamas.

Do you want me to ask the Weather Service to redirect the storm so it
hits St Augustine and the "Ulysses" but nothing else?
