That's a pretty small swap partition in any case. Joydeep, how much
RAM do you have in this system? The usual rule of thumb is that your
swap partition should be 2x the installed RAM.

But the tmpfs filesystem is a virtual one -- he will still have a /tmp
directory in his root partition which has plenty of room.
