Did I miss the memo about having to take the mailing list's being hosted
on "linuxmafia.com" literally?

$RANDOM_PERSON has asked a question that's obviously an attempt to have
their homework done for them. Do you:
a) Gruffly reply that we don't do other people's homework and send them
on their way
b) Gently warn them that attempts to have homework done do not go down
well, then answer the question in a way that explains the underlying
principles, while not directly answering the question.
c) Take it as an opportunity to have some fun, and give nonsense answers
d) Pistol whip da bum, muttering about how he ain't got no respect
