I found a solution an it's working !
 
To enter in the LILO command line press SHIFT key.
 
Type linux init=/bin/bash
    or linux init=/bin/sh
 
Now you are logged as root, but .. read-only.
To have full acces:
 
mount /dev/sda1 -o remount,rw
 
if your / partition is "sda1" .
Then use passwd to enter the desired password.
That's all !

PS: the problem with the root password is a bug of Debian distribution ??
