After getting your mail I have checked xcb. But again it has its own window 
and not an applet like tool (as klipper). more over I have found xcb not so 
closer to a clipboard as xclipboard is. In xcb if you don't rotate the present 
buffer then the next selection will over write the existing selected text. 
Though I haven't flipped through its man page to see if there is any option 
to make this rotation automatic with every selection. Any how thanks for 
letting us know another linux utility -:)

Do you use any clipboard tool under Fvwm ? what is that ?
