Heh. On the wider topic of hosting your own version of Web 2.0-type 
applications, AutoDesk have set up the 'MapServer Foundation': they're 
taking over hosting of UMN MapServer (now 'MapServer Cheetah': 
http://mapserver.gis.umn.edu/), and have released their own map server 
('MapServer Enterprise': 
http://www.mapserverfoundation.org/mapserver_enterprise/download.html) 
under the LGPL.

So now, if you have maps (and, IIRC, Bruce Perens has a bunch of US 
maps), you can run your own Google Maps-alike.

I also came across something that looks like the Semantic Web's answer 
to del.icio.us: http://www.annotea.org/mozilla/ubi.html
