Yeah, well... would you mind sending a laptop along with that as well?
The HP died on the operating table. :( It starting exhibiting an odd
behavior - if you tried to start it up after shutting down, it would
start blinking its power light (which, according to the HP people, means
that it's in the "suspend" mode), and would not come out of it for any
reason - even unplugging and removing the battery would not reset it -
until 5-10 minutes had passed. This behavior grew asymptotically (10^n,
with a high value of 'n') until it would simply not come up at all. So,
today, the hotel people are waiting for the FedEx man to pick it up and
drag it into the HP cave, from which it will emerge - I hope - hale and
hearty and ready for another encounter with Linux.
Damn, I do *not* have good luck with laptops.
