Heh. Well, Jim and Heather saw my "laptop from hell" shortly after I
sailed back to the States; it had the distinction of being dropped on
more docks in the Caribbean than any other laptop, had had soda poured
into it, had every piece of the plastic cover cracked or broken (you
could actually twist it and watch a 4" gap open under the keyboard)...
AND everything still worked perfectly. I only got rid of it because,
well, people with laptops that look like that don't get paid
professional rates. :)
