Well, Benjamin - there's no need to subscribe to this list if all you
want to do is ask questions about Linux; just send mail to it, and
you'll be cc'd on the responses. For those who are subscribed to the
list, our discussions include Linux, language, food, politics, humor,
philosophy, and lots and lots of other content. It's taken as read that,
just as in a Usenet newsgroup, our members know how to use a killfile or
a scorefile as well the "Delete" button.

If you're willing to help us answer Linux questions, then it would be
nice if you hung around. If not, as I've mentioned, posting here is open
to all comers. Either way, no problem - but I'd rather you didn't leave
due to a misperception; my polemic, at least, was inspired by the sheer
enormity of current events, and that's not something that comes along
once a week.
