Okay. Right now I'm using ratpoison, which is kind of like GNU screen,
except for X11. There's no window borders or anything. Everything runs
full-screen. I run a dual-headed setup, and I usually have firefox open
on one monitor, and an xterm running screen in another. So right now,
I'm just using X11 as a way to run firefox and use both monitors. (Last
I looked, getting a pure-console multi-headed display going was next to
impossible, so X11 is required if you want to use more than one monitor
at a time.)
