Now that you remind me - yeah, shortly after I installed CUPS a couple
of years ago, I had the same problem. The PPD I needed was located
somewhere deep inside '/usr/share' or /usr/lib', but CUPS just ignored
it. I think it was that FAQ at linuxprinting.org that finally put me
onto the fact that it should be in '/etc/cups/ppd' instead.
