Quoting RJ Burke (rjburke at telus.net):

(Reilly: When we said please reply back to the mailing list, we meant it
and had good reason. Your continually ignoring that reminder was an
early clue about where this discussion was headed.)

Honestly, *I* can't believe your compounding your own ignoring of
expert, relevant help with name-calling.

Reilly, let me make one last attempt to explain the Internet facts of
life to you: Nobody's going to reconfigure the fundamental operations
of long-established mailing lists to accomodate your badly implemented
spam filters. Thomas could have echoed my polite "No, that's not in the
cards" and stopped there. Instead, he attempted for both you and our
magazine readership's benefit to teach you the big picture of how
Internet mail works and how to use basic tools you _already have_
(without "programming" [sic], and using already written recipes) to
accomplish your goals.

And do you value at cost things you get for free -- e.g., Thomas's
expert help? Unfortunately, many people do.

Thomas nowhere suggested that you do.

OK, good luck to you.
