Half a dozen times in the last 12 months, I've wanted to ask someone
from an archived mailing list posting spotted by Google if they'd
gotten an answer to their question, or gotten the problem (which was
also my problem) solved.

I went about 40/60 because of completely hidden addresses.

It *does* have a bad side-effect.
