Perhaps this is a problem with using the same swap space.
1. You may need to make swap with 'mkswap -v1' to ensure that both
systems use the newer type of swap space.
2. You should (of course) not use suspend to swap on one of the
systems and then try to reboot into the other :)

That should certainly not be required if you have enough disk space.
