I was thinking of using it in the case where you need to *actually find*
the cause of the non-response to a ping. I guess the days of a signal
generator and a "headset" to find faulty connections are a thing of
 A telephone earpiece in a plastic headset with two prongs on wires
which you connect/hold across the signal path.
I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god
than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other
possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours.
