However, line order is actually by far the less-significant aspect.  The
need to snip pointless quotation -- i.e., to lose all quoted upthread text
except any bits actually needed as context for your individual comments
-- is really the key bit.  Even GMail users can accomplish that, albeit
with difficulty, using a feature I believe is commonly called "the
clipboard" and its "cut" function.
