Good opportunity to interject a lesson on Linux tools! ;->
:r! dig -t mx lists.linuxgazette.net +short
10 linuxmafia.com.
Anyway, I will most certainly be finding some time to very carefully
improve the spam-detection/rejection rulesets and tools, and appreciate
the specific suggestion about fine-tuning SA, which is definitely on the
agenda.
As a reminder, one alternative would be to put this mailing list, at
least pending tightening of my anti-spam regime, into the same mode as
almost all other mailing lists on the planet in 2009: holding all posts
from non-subscribed addresses for admin approval. TAG is very rare in not
doing so, for policy reasons: We try to make it easy to be reached by
random members of the public, from any address.
I've offered to make that change on prior occasions: Consensus to date
has been always been no.
