I just checked my mirroring script and glanced over LG #171.
Work and a high system load kept my head down, but the flurry of e-mails
on the TAG list raised some exceptions and triggered an error handler.

I did a reality check and reread Rick's article. I also read the
editorial comments. Let me phrase my very own opinion (and bear in mind
that I am a quite non-native speaker of English). I think I get the
point of Rick's article. It's a pleasure to read it and my wife (a
bookseller in Vienna's British Bookshop) enjoyed the style. So I am
quite surprised to see the discussion about the content turning into a
flame war.

I do not wish to kindle the flames, that's why I refrain from using
quotes in my reply. A few minutes ago I read the message "Don't Take It
Too Seriously". This is really good advise and currently mantras like
these help me through my business with insane customers.
