Excellent! You now know more about that part of the boot process than
most self-styled computer technicians out there. :)

Um, whoops. Yeah, overheating is probably the worst culprit in computers
overall. Not even so much because it kills them - that's relatively easy
to solve - but because it causes highly erratic, hard to trace problems,
while the machine is overheating and after.
